Liqun U-joint couplings mount to the flywheel of a combustion engine and attach through a Cardan shaft connection to power take-off gearboxes, converter gear boxes and pump drivers, etc. Each coupling is designed to transmit the weight of the Cardan shaft as well as to help absorb and attenuate any reactive forces acting on the U-joint connection. They are precision engineered to protect the drive train against excessive mechanical strain by reducing resonance frequencies below the operating speed and bringing torque spikes caused by this resonance within permissible limits.
Liqun U-joint couplings meet SAE J620 standards and are available in eight different sizes, both US and metric, in Metric Cardan, Spicer Cardan and Mechanics Cardan shaft connections with a torque range of 3,450- 141,600 lb-in. Special configurations are available upon request.
