Different types of anchor bolts are used in various industries, for many applications. For almost 30 years, Videx has been involved in the design and production of anchor bolt manufacturing equipment. The anchor bolts are manufactured on a automatic machine that pulls the wire from the coil and straightens it before cutting to length.
Thread rolling takes place on one end of the part before bending to the final shape. Videx's machines produce M-24 (1") anchor bolts at a rate of 70 pieces per minute (PPM), and M-12 (2") bolts at a rate of 120 PPM.
It is common to mark the anchor bolts, to identify the manufacturer, and mark the penetration depth of the bolt's long leg. This is also done automatically, without slowing down the process.
