In accordance with Government-Owned, Contractor Operated(GOCO) Policy from the Ministry of Defense, the UJIC Military Business Division was awarded the operation right of 302 Military Uniform Factory under the condition of " best bid " through public tender in July 2003. UJIC became the first GOCO contractor in October of the same year, and restructure itself under the new name UJIC Hsiao Kang Factory.
Research and Development Center, which is the core of UJIC, has attentively developed a value chain to integrate technology and service innovation for our global collaboration system, coordinating among various departments such as R&D, designing, engineering, manufacturing, planning, marketing, sales and service.
Vision
Our short-term goal is to extend our business ever more internationally by becoming a major military logistic supplier not only in Taiwan but also throughout the world. In the mid-term, UJIC wishes to enter the market of functional and performance garment using experiences from military sector.
Eventually, a vertical and horizontal integration of value chain from textile to apparel will be completed in the long-term.
